The Iren Group launches the 2024 edition of the Iren Startup Award: Call 4 Artificial Intelligence, an open innovation project carried out by the Circular Economy Lab for the Iren Group. This call is aimed at startups and innovative SMEs with the goal of identifying innovative digital solutions (software and hardware connected to intelligent software) based on artificial intelligence (AI), capable of optimizing business processes and promoting a more efficient and sustainable business model.

The call specifically targets start-ups and SMEs that are already developing innovative solutions for improving refinery waste management, remediating soil and water contamination, and improving energy.

Circular Water 4 healthcare is the circular open innovation project promoted by SYNLAB and Bracco, in partnership with IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi, in the context of Federated Innovation @MIND, and implemented by the Circular Economy Lab - initiative of Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center and Cariplo Factory. The aim of this initiative is to define a scalable and replicable best practice for the recovery, in particular, of contrast liquids and the management of hospital wastewater, through the implementation of processes that can become a model of innovation for the Italian and international Healthcare sector, as well as for legislators and technological partners, in hospital and laboratory wastewater management.
